Team Analysis
As two London rivals, Chelsea and Tottenham will be searching for a way out of their respective crises when they face each other in a postponed game of Matchday No 26. Nevertheless, both teams come into the game on the back of disappointing performances.

Chelsea managed to snatch a point from their game against Aston Villa with a late equalizer, however this did little to make up for their horrendous 0-5 loss to Arsenal last Tuesday. Tottenham, on the other hand, are also coming off a rough patch after an unfortunate 2-3 loss to Arsenal in the North London derby on Sunday afternoon.

Despite their recent setbacks, Spurs' head coach Ange Postecoglou remains optimistic, drawing positives from the team's character to bounce back from a three-goal deficit and their creation of numerous opportunities to score against Premier League's best defensive line.

With an eye for revenge after their 1-4 home defeat against Chelsea last November, Tottenham is also hoping to turn their fortune around in this upcoming face-off.

Head-to-Head
Looking back at their recent encounters, Tottenham has managed only one win over Chelsea in their previous five meetings. In terms of their historical face-offs at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea clearly holds the upper hand with 40 wins, 19 draws, and 20 defeats in their last 79 home clashes with Tottenham.

Odds Analysis
Given the current state of affairs, this game is predicted to be high scoring as both Chelsea and Tottenham are struggling defensively. Chelsea has let in seven goals in their last two Premier League outings while Tottenham has conceded as many in their consecutive league loses to Newcastle and Arsenal.

Moreover, both teams possess strong firepower, capable of pulling off some exceptional scoring feats in the final third. Chelsea, for instance, boasts of five wins and a draw in their last six home fixtures, all of which produced at least four goals. Tottenham's last three league matches also resulted in four or more goals, thus making an 'Over 3.5 goals' outcome seem highly likely according to odds of 1.72.

In addition, given these circumstances, backing for the team's top scorers seems like a safe play. For instance, Cole Palmer, who has had an impressive campaign for Chelsea this season, has 19 goals to his name. Considering that he'll be playing against one of the league's weakest defense, there is reason to expect him to score anytime at odds of 2.25.

Pick: Over 3.5 goals
