Official: Akram Afif crowned MVP and Golden Boot of this edition of the Asian Cup

With the conclusion of the Asian Cup, the AFC (Asian Football Confederation) officially presented the awards for the Best Player, Best Goalkeeper, and the Golden Boot after the final, all of which were claimed by players from the champion team, Qatar.



Akram Afif was named the Best Player of the 2023 Qatar Asian Cup and also received the Golden Boot award. His outstanding performances helped Qatar retain the Asian Cup title. The forward, who scored a hat-trick of penalties in the final, netted 8 goals and provided 3 assists in this edition of the tournament.



Furthermore, Qatar's goalkeeper, Marashal Al-Basham, was named the Best Goalkeeper of the 2023 Qatar Asian Cup.
